We haven't stayed there, but did have a look around once. It has a great pool complex, in a hot open sunny area, and the pitches had plenty of shade (important on a southern site in August) for the most part. The access roads seemed narrow, and the pitches we looked at were 'irregular' and in woodland. The sanitary blocks looked (and smelled) very clean! There's an tourist information nearby in Les Fumades - which is a fascinating places in itself if the old Spa buildings are still there, and still open to the public. There was also a casino (as in Gambling, rather than shopping!). The area around is lovely - you're on the outside edge of the Ardeche, in quiet countryside, with St Ambroix near enough for large supermarket shopping, a market, etc., and you're near enough to the Ardeche for the site-seeing and canoeine. You can also canoe on the Ceze - which runs through St Ambroix.
There used to be lots of tour operators there - Eurocamp, Canvas Holidays, and so on - don't know if they're still there?
