Hi. New van on order was thinking of fitting a Camos dome 40cm static. my idea is to remove the status Ariel and fit the dome in it's place uterlising the existing hole for wires. i currently use a maxview dish on a tripod.
anyone got one fitted, comments please
 
We have fitted numerous Camos domes and never once removed the ariel , reason being if your ever parked where your dish is unable to get a signal wether it be a tree or building blocking it you still have the ariel as backup. There is only cable to feed through the roof and a hole the size of the ariel shaft is abit excessive. It is also possible to have terrestial tv in part of your van and satellite in the other......perfect with families
