Dometic Plastic Locking Pins. £20.00 for 4?????

Dear All,

I have a Dometic RMD fridge in our Bailey Unicorn Barcelona Fridge (2014) and the 4 x plastic locking pins required to secure the plastic storage racks/trays are missing as depicted on P20 of the operating instructions (fig 26) identified as No2. Can I get four replacements please?

I contacted Dometic who passed me onto Sales Leisure Spares who have quoted me a price of £3.99 each plus £3.99 for P&P for these hefty 22ct gold replacement pins. That's 5pence short of £20.00.

As anyone sourced a cheaper alternative?

It may be worth a letter and a stamp direct to Dometic asking why their plastic pins don't last. Please can they send you replacements. I say this tongue in cheek but sometimes a friendly letter praising their products may help.
Failing that you know the exorbitant cost and why us tuggers get taken advantage of. :S
