Dont know how to do links, so go to you~tube and type in= 1976: Big Jims Boozy bike trip to braemar. I didnt know whether to laugh or admire the man.
 
My Grandfather was "saved" by his bicycle when he fell over the Brig of Dee, coming back from a boozy afternoon in Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
It got caught in reeds in the river, and he hung onto the bike.
