Hi could anyone recommend a good replacement lock or an additional one for an ace globtrotter 1986.Ive just discovered how easy it is to get into the van cuortesey of someone who has broken into mine by prising the door.

I've used the Fiamma Safe-T-Door on my last two caravans and they are good.

I've used them since "they" entered my van by inserting a screwdriver in the keyhole and turning it with a mole wrench....lost

In a caravan accessory shop, you can sometimes find a replacement lock cylinder that takes the circular type of key often used on security devices. Another idea is to fit a domestic-type "Yale" rim latch.

But remember how fragile our outfits are, a big screwdriver, bit of brute force, and 'they' are in through door or window.

Hi Folks, Just a small warning about fitting the Fiamma security lock, it,s wise to fit a fairly large metal plate on the inside of the van, the thieves in this area have been ripping the whole unit from the van leaving a very large and expensive hole to repair.
