Hello,

We were away last week in the snow, on a grass pitch and when packing up the awning was wet and also got quite muddy despite my best efforts to keep it clean. When we got home (we keep the caravan in the back garden) I set the awning up and lightly hosed it down to remove the mud. Then left it to dry as much as possible and it is now hanging in the garage drying nicely. As for the ground sheet, I do as you do - hang it on the line and power wash it, and leave it to dry. As for the smell, we have not really noticed that there is a smell. We also have a larger awning and also do not notice that there is a smell on that ground sheet either.

Hope this helps.
