I have read some threads that the fridges in caravans can run on electric or gas, I was wondering how its possible to run on gas, does it involve a pilot light? Totally clueless on this subject... :blush:
 
Caravan fridges are 3 way powered, 12v, 230v and gas.
Gas operation is achieved by a burner creating the heat to turn the coolant into a gas which then starts the cooling process.
Older fridges have a pilot light, newer fridges have automatic ignition .
