Went on Thursday as planned, a little who cares, then when it got dark the wind started getting stronger, and stronger, the result we were up from a little after 2.00am, all pegs fully in, strong strap over the awning, extra pegs put in, still trying to take off.

Friday morning, high winds and sleet, er indoors made the democratic decision, pack up and go home, alas home by 11.00am.

Phone call from friends who remained, heavy snow and high winds last night, minus 5 overnight, got to say glad I listened to the boss.
 
Its such a shame when the weathers bad over a holiday weekend. The Derbyshire school's have done us a real favour this year by not breaking up for their 2 weeks holiday until April. Fingers crossed for better weather then as we will be in the new forest for a week.
