EBAY Password Warning following security breach

Hi All,
Ebay have sent me a message requesting that I change my password as their security has been breached.
They do not mention "Heartbleed" but I suspect that it is some thing to do with it.
Has any one else recieved this message from Ebay?
OR is this a spoof message that is a security scam it self?
 
Ebay were attacked in February and have only recently announced it, see national press. Yes - you need to change your password, but do it through the ebay website. ebay also own Pay Pal and you are recommended to change that password as well, again separately via the Pay Pal site, even if you have it 'linked' to your ebay account.
 
I believe the Paypal database is on a different server, and therefore unaffected. However, if you use the same password for both, it would make real sense to change both, crooks arent stupid.
