Well I done it at long last,My fleetwood had a spongy floor about four foot by 3 foot near the entrance and around the kitchen area,The dealer wanted between £350 to £ 450 to repair,

i had never done the job before so i went ahead and got the adhesive at £30, pump at £3, The dowls at a fiver, duck tape at the same price, and then i proceeded over about three weekends to do the job,and im glad to report the job is now all done, all i have to do is buy the carpet about 30 quid, About £75 for a new floor area, and yes i would do the job again as it wasnt to difficult to tackle, Thank you all those who responed over the weeks of me asking of how the job is done,Thanks. Eddie

hi,delamination...frightening no if you set out your stall and take your time.this is not a two hour job as stated, when you have finished you will know why they charge so much at the caravan repair shop.i have just done ours a few months ago.i will go through the steps best i can.ours had gone in two places, next to the door entrance and next to the sink four feet away.you will find that delamination is where the floor is used most.ie next to the sink and the door entrance.first decide how much delamination you have,ie.2 feet (old school) or 6 feet, this information is required when you go to order your epoxi resin mix.one mix will cover about 3 feet by 3 feet.got mine from barrons

Hi Andrew

Well i done this over a few weeends,Firstly i removed the caravan carpet, then i found the weak area of the floor and this turned out to be about 3 sq ft,i drilled 8mm holes about five inches in a diamond shape, about 60 holes in all, carefull you dont go through the bottom layer of the floor.but if you do no problems just fill the hole with a body filler or a dowl, after the holes are drilled go underneath the van and seal all areas what are joined.use a good quality duck tape, then support the floor underneath from the ground to the van floor, then now for the adhesive, two tins one small and one large, mix these together but not all at once say half tin,now inject into one hole the adhesive untill it comes out the one next to it,repeat this the whole area of the floor, making sure at the same time nothing is coming out the bottom of the van,put in your 8mm dowls as you go,8mm dowls are the right size between the two floors and you wont make yourself any extra work, wipe all surpluss away. and then leave it for a few days to go rock hard, now any in perfections you can fill with a car body filler to help level it for a smooth floor, underneath the van and remove your supports now and leave the duck tape in place and i undersealed over the whole area underneath,Then replace the carpet mine cost
