Hi all,
We have an elddis xplore 304 2015 model. Currently away as we speak and the whale blow heater has come on several times by itself during the night pumping out cold air? Has anybody experienced any similar issues and any thoughts at all? Any ideas, advice appreciated.

Hi welcome to the forum. We have an Xplore 302 2013 with a whale blown air system. We didn’t have your problem, but we had an intermittent problem with turning the heating on. Sometimes it would come on, sometimes it wouldn’t. Turned out to be an issue with the control knob.
No idea if this is of any use to you but who knows.

I am not familiar with eth Whale heaters, so I cant give specific advice, but its most likely an intermittent connection of some sort. Unless you are fully competent with the product its probably best to refer it to a service agent. However Whale do seem to have a good service team so its probably worth giving them a call or message.

I have a 2020 Xplore 304 and while it has the underslung heater I can's say for sure if the heater and controls are the same as yours. We don't run the heater at night so we'll not have encountered your problem but if your controls are the same as ours there are some fault codes that can be displayed. I'll attached some info at the end of this post.

I probably wont have an answer for you but perhaps some background info may help so....

1. Are you using the Electric or Gas to run the heater?
2. If Electric which setting are you using 500/1000/2000
3. What fan speed have you chosen? Is it on Night setting or the Frost Setting or a speed above these?

Here's the manual info on the heater, which you may have anyway.
