Elddis Avante 636 2008 Updates?

Hi,

Have spent the day looking at this van and comparing it to a dealer special Swift Charsima 590. The Elddis has a smaller fridge 80L, no external BBQ pt or microwave but does give more options for sleeping with its extended twin rear dinette. Does anyone know if the 2008 model of the Avante will have these features?

James according to this months Practical Caravan magazine the 636 is being discontinued for 2008 and replaced by the 626 which is the same layout as the Bailey Ranger 620/6 - fixed double bed at the back, side dinette and paralell seating at the front.

If you are in the right locale you could try the Mendip Magnum 636 based on the Compass Corona which is vitually identical to the Elddis Avante.

This comes with an external BBQ point and other extras and we are very happy with ours.
