Hi, another caravanners irritation - electrical hiccup. My Pageant Series 5 Vendee, the 12v. system does no longer work on battery supply only! The battery is quite new and fully charged (it powers motor mover ok). Fortunately we use electric hook-up sites and everything works through the electrics. The ammeter showing a some 13v charge to the system whilst on hook-up. I have checked fuse box and all seems ok unless I'm not seeing something properly.

Have you checked the main battery fuse near the battery box? (sometimes tucked away under the box)
The "ammeter" you speak of is not an ammeter, it is a voltmeter and is showing the voltage from the charger when on hook up.
 
there is an inline fuse from the distribution box to the battery. I had the same problem on my 2005 pagent. unfortunately I cannot remember exactly where the fuse was located
every thing worked ok on EHU but no 12v when off EHU
