I see on TV that the Welsh Assemby want law making powers. Why? So that they can give blue badge priviliges to pregnant women.

Give the mothers a chance to practice the "School catchment" skills in advance. Pregnant? Drive over the border, you can park there!

A bit like fathers now being allowed 2 weeks paternity leave and even up to 26 weeks, some paid, if his partner decides to return to work.

Who pays for all this time off, taxpayer or employer?

I suppose this is where the saying "nanny state" comes from.

It makes me wonder how Lady Braykewynde and I managed to cope bringing up 3 baby Braykewyndes and my parents bringing up 4. How did this nation survive all these centuries?
