it was 30 years ago come August 16th. that Elvis died at the age of 42. Can anybody recommend a DVD of his best hits that is available. I have a compilation but most were recorded live at various shows and the quality of recording is very poor. What I would like is a DVD with his original 78 and 45 rpm records re-recorded onto the disc. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Good news for you colwn ap brydgynd....

Elvis is alive and well :O)

I spotted him heading your way down the A40 yesterday towing an Airstream with a Lincoln Navigator.

Apparently it was a conspiracy and he didn't really die. He went into hiding as a monk on Caldy Island because of all the media attention. They faked his death by getting a lookalike to act as his corpse, that's why we don't see Mr Blobby on the t.v. no more. Noel Edmunds never appeared on t.v. for ages, it was said it was because of his divorce but that was another conspiracy. The reason was that he was beside himself with grief at the demise of his good friend Mr Blobby.

Lord B. On reading your response to my posting and previous replies you have made I will take my cap off to you for your wonderful sense of humour and talent of imagination. I wish I could respond in a similar vaine as on many occassions I have enjoyed a good laugh.

On a serious note Rita I have been on the two web sites you recommend and there is plenty of information there. When I have more time I will site down and thoroughly go through the sites and see what is available. Many thanks for your help.

Hi Colin,

If you go North on Highway 45 ( business) and then turn Right onto Highway 6, Two little old ladies run a museum just outside the house Elvis was born in at Tupelo. The last time I was in there they had a lot of the original recordings on sale. Hope that helps !!!

Val & Frank ( For 2 years are main shopping place was Memphis )

Never mind what LB says, Elvis is dead We've seen his Grave, and his moms at Gracelands.

Frank I don't care if you saw a grave, it doesn't mean it contains Elvis's body. The clues are there to be seen at his grave, why have a headstone made of Pink Cystalite, because Blobby is buried there.

There's no doubt about it, it was Elvis I saw and spoke to. At the Usk Services we even had a coke each, I drank mine while he snorted his.
