Enduro motor mover?

Are there any Enduro owners out there? I hear lots about Powertouch, but there must be many satisfied owners of Enduros too.

I am able to buy locally an Enduro, and would like to hear from anyone that uses them. How good is the soft start?

How precise are the controls? have you had any experience of thier warranty?

I installed one myself about a month ago and have used it once since.

Fairly straightforward to install (I did post the details at the time so it might be worth doing a search to see what I wrote).

It certainly does what it says on the box but I would want to have used it a bit more yet before I make glowing recomendations. I certainly don't have any negative comments at this stage.

We are going away in a few weeks to the south of france so it will get a good testing.

Too early to comment on the after sales support at the moment.

I have read some reports on this forum of people having problems with the cross actuation mechanism on the Powertouch and many seem to have removed it. The powertouch uses a cam mechanism to engage whereas the Enduro uses a sliding mechanism which I think is much better.

I am sure the Powertouch lobby will spring to its defence however.

I installed mine last September and can report no problems so far.

If i have one comment though, the soft start could be softer and could respond a bit more quickly. I am noticing a small delay between pressing/releasing a control button and the Enduro responding. Some friends have the Powrtouch and the soft start is much softer, but then the operating speed seems considerably slower with the Powrtouch also.
