It's a typical CC non-facility site but sees more activity than most as an overnight stop-off between England and Scotland.

like most people, we used this site as an overnight stop on the way back from a holiday in Scotland.

The approach road is very bumpy and I strongly recommend that you follow the instruction to slow down to 30 or less!

Having said that, we found it excellent - quiet, spacious and very relaxed. Lots of walks through the adjoining wood and nice countryside. We said we would stay longer next time.

The weather forecast loos good for the weekend, so have a good time.
