Hi all,

I am a lady newcomer to here and I will be asking quite a few questions. Hopefully Ill get some support.

I bought a Europa 410 very cheaply and I have decided as a project to give a good overhaul inside and out.

I am currently working on the inside as I see traditional styles to be absolutely horrid & totally outdated even new caravans are hopelessly horrendous in style!

Help I need at the moment is I need to know what type of Jockey Wheel (is that the correct name) that i need to replace I have a picture if someone can help :)

The other thing is I bought some Caravan paint for the outside off Ebay (special type) can you tell me whether I have been ripped? Is there a special type of paint for Caravans?

Also..............one more thing...........Can anybody suggest a helpful soul to come look at the electrics & gas before I go into the big bad world?

Thanks for reading my woes :)

Regards,

Donna

Hi Donna

A selection of Jockey wheels can be found on the Towsure website but most caravan accessory shops sell them

Copy /paste the following into your web browser.

http://www.towsure.com/category/7250-Telescopic_Jockey_Wheels
Please make sure that anyone who checks your electric and gas systems is competent to do so.

I'm not too sure about the caravan paint from E Bay, it might be the sort that is sold for static caravans but if it's not right you could always sell it again.

Best of luck with your project, why not take some photographs as the work progresses and send them to the magazine?

Hi Parksy,

Thanks I was looking for someone to guide me on what Jockey wheel I need I have a picture of the old one but cant find any details of name or make etc

The thing about the paint is that it comes in a white paint pot withthe words "Caravan Paint" just looks to me like they are putting emulsion into a pot thats all I just didnt want to think Im getting ripped off.

I will definately get someone qualified hoping someone will come forward off here!

I have taken pictures as I go and I will send you in my progress when its all finished sounds like a fab idea!

Thanks for your help Donna
