European Trip.

I intend to go for a 3 mnth trip ,next year ,travelling through Germany Austria Italy and Bosnia. Can anyone tell me how they would manage for gas for this period of time. Is there a universal European gas bottle or would something like rechargable gas bottles be best.Nigel

We use Camping Gaz 907 cylinders on the continent which are the only universal ones that I know of.

It will depend on what you use the gas for. If, like us, you just use it for cooking but use electrics for everything else you might find that 2 X 6kgs Calor bottles are more than enough. We had a 9 week trip through Germany last year during May and June and did not use one full cylinder. If you wanted a belt and braces approach take an additional Camping Gaz 907 as well which as Dusty said are pretty universal throughout Europe.
