Euros from the Cashpoint

Hi all, we normally holiday in France and pickup cash at the cashpoint in whichever French town we happen to be in, dont bother with travellers cheques as the majority of stores and petrol stations are not interested. This year we are going to Northern Spain - the Costa Verde / Cantabria / Asturias - does anyone know are cash machines fairly readily available in this part of Spain and what are the opening hours of Spanish banks ? thanks in advance for any information and feedback.
 
We used cash points in Spain and Andorra the same as in France with no problem.

I've no idea when bank open as we only ever go to cash points.
 
Hi Richard,

You will find that cash machines are available in all reasonably large towns and the bank opening hours are much the same as ours.

We try and husband our cash as much as possible because of the hefty commission charges to draw your own cash.

We try wherever possible to use either our Nationwide credit card or Caravan Club card, both of which have no commissione
