Expensive Servicing Costs

Am I just unfortunate or do other people find caravan servicing very expensive?? I have just paid £873.10 for the annual service to my twin axle Avondale Landranger (1987) at an NCC recommended service agent. I have it serviced annually and there was nothing exceptional wrong with the van only althougb it did need 2 new break drums and 2 new wheel hubs and bearings. A partial reseal at an additional £300+ has, also, been advised because of high damp readings in places Every year there seems to be a different problem that adds to the costs.

What do other people find??!!

Sorry to hear about the cost of your service. I had my single axle van serviced a couple of weeks ago. The chap who came out said the battery charger was broken and we would need a new one which he could buy for

Bob T's little bit 'I've never been ripped off' reminded me of a little bit of dialogue from Yes Minister. Jim Hacker says to Sir Humphrey 'well you have always answered my questions' to which Sir Humphrey replies 'I'm glad you think so'.
