external gas outlet

We have an abbey domino 1998 and it has a lift up flap on the side of the caravan. Inside is what seems to be is a socket for plugging in a gas BBQ or heater. If you look in the front box there is a gas pipe and a tap supplying this socket. Does anyone know what sort of plug or adapter I would fit to my BBQ to plug into this socket. When you look at the socket it seems to have some ball bearings which i can only imagine grip onto some sort of a plug.

have you tried a 13amp plug in your socket?our bbq works on electric

In an emergency if your new style gas regulator packs up, you can connect your bottle of gas c/w old style regulator via this point and get out of trouble.
