EYEMOUTH and WILKSWORTH FARM

Has anyone stayed at either of these sites. Eyemouth is in Berwickshire in the Scottish borders and is believed to have terrific sea views. Also I am wondering what Wilksworth farm in Dorset is like. I am looking for a site which isn't too commercial but has a tennis court.

Hi, I live fairly close to Wilksworth Farm, I havn't camped there for 10 years or so but dropped my step daughter off there yesterday. She says it is a good site and it looked ok to me. It is in a nice part of Dorset, Wimborne is a pleasant place and still retains a certain charm.
 
the site at eyemouth not been for a while it was getting to commercial loads of statics but the views are fantastic sloping touring area.

Do you mean the Park Resorts caravan park at Eyemouth? They do have excellent views, but not from any of the touring pitches.

There are a small number of touring pitches (20ish) but they are mostly taken up with seasonal tourers. The other problem is you cannot put an awning up on over half of them. They are either fully hard standing or paved for van and grass for awning pitches.

They do have some sports courts but not sure about tennis. The site is primarily statics (owned and rentals).

It's a shame there is not more choice of good sites in the area.
