So who will be paying for the water from the leak? No wonder we have droughts in the UK.
Water board have dug her drive up three times and done repairs in the last year. Now they plan to go back to the main in the road and lay a new supply that bypasses the drive and routes under her front and side garden. They will then tap off a supply to the rear of her house whilst the main run then goes on to the other 8 houses being supplied. Glad I’m not having to pay for it as Wessex have agreed to bear the costs.

Well, ended up warm and sunny in Broadway today, hike up to the tower, a couple of pints in a pub and enjoying a cup of tea in the sun now. Zero work stress for a few days.

Many years ago when we used to go to Broadway we liked going into the Swan. They then gutted the inside and destroyed its character. We then went up the road to the I think the Wagon & Horses? Nice homely pub. We have never been to teh Tower despite spending loads of time in the area and actually live in the county! :D

We went toThe Swan for a meal last night, food was good (but pricey), like you say though, certainly not a “pub” atmosphere for a drink. Last night’s “celebrity spot” was Graeme Hall from the Dogs Behaving Badly TV show, I think he’s local to the area?
