Have been unable to get a replacement, even from the original manufacturer for this CEC/Plug-In-Systems ESM unit (Direct Technical Services). My Abbey Expression is only 4-years old so I'm surprised to be in this situation (both from the fact it's failed in the first place, and also that a compatible unit is not forthcoming). Anyone got any suggestions please?

Hi Chris,

Does this unit have a visible faceplate (with controls) or could you buy anything as a replacement.

If you can fit anything: Look at the German Schaudt range - just beautiful quality - www.schaudt-gmbh.de - go to the downloads page and get the English product brochure.

We use their power supplies in the process control analysers we build

Hi Chris

I run my own electronics repair business and have the capabilities to diagnose & repair many types of PSUs, controllers, chargers etc.

Would be happy to help you out if you require your unit repaired.

If you let me have your email address we can take it from there.

Cheers

John,

I have just replaced my charger unit as the old one (2yrs 6months old) blew a fuse, I replaced the fuse and the fault then blew its self clear, I dont have the know how to fix it, but would like it fixed as a stand by.

How do I send you my Email address without going public
