Had a problem with my Thetford toilet its the bench type, under 2 years old, Come to open the flap and snap the shaft connecting the handle and the cassette broke in two, Looked it up on the Thetford website, Get the part number, Easy job sorted, So went to our local camping shop in Benidorm thinking no problem, Wrong no chance not even a part he could order. So im back in UK at xmas so i'll sort it, After a few days of using a pair of pliers i got cheesed off and e-mailed Thetford in Holland, Got a reply the very next day from Thetford in UK explaining they only sell direct to wholesalers in UK and they dont sell outside the UK, But if i provided a address they would mail me the part free of charge. Bingo the part arrived today by airmail. Thanks again Thetford

Similarly I once emailed Whale in Northern Ireland and asked where I could obtain some O rings for their water pump socket.

The sent me 6 by return of post free of charge.
