FAO Andy (Swift)

Hi Andy, just a quick question. We have just picked up a new Swift Challenger 540. Is there supposed to be a seal across the bottom of the shower door as when using the shower water seeped through the gap at the bottom of the door and onto the carpet. Surely this should not happen as we were led to believe that it has a fully sealed door. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Helen,

Your 540 is fitted with a fully lined wet washroom.

The entrance door is sealed along three sides (sides and top), with a plastic trim piece on the bottom of the door to deflect water back into the washroom. You are right, no water should seep out.

Reading your post, it seems that the lower plastic trim piece is missing, allowing water to leak back into the main habitation area.

I would suggest that you contact your dealer, so that he can order a replacement, but if you would like us to get involved, just drop me an e-mail with your dealer name and chassis number.

I hope that helps.

Ash

Thanks Andy, I thought that there must be something missing. I will contact the dealer so that they can send the required part out to me. Helen.
