Andy have you received the results from Miriad yet re the window problem.

Just returned from holiday in our infamous 2009 Conqueror and when I stopped for a break the 2 panes of the window were actually sticking together. If the window had been redesigned then why is this happening on a van as new as this.

Someone is telling porkies me thinks. Are they continuing to get rid of defective stock?

Well said James, already been posts today about those problematic windows, no answer as of yet from Ash or Andy me thinks they have no answer, mine due in next week that's if they arrive, already missed one date.

This matter is getting seriously serious. I have been waiting for a replacement front window from my dealer since discovering their was a major problem by chance. I have just returned from France following a months holiday and whilst there spoke to an octogenerian caravaner who was on his first trip with with his brand new Swift Challenger 540 purchased in April this year. When I asked him if he'd experienced any problems with his central front window he said no except he'd got these mirror image stains which he'd been trying to remove with toothpaste. !!!! Needless to say I explained the problem and suggest that he contact his dealer as soon as he got back home.

How many more caravaners are there who have invested a significant lump of their savings who are not aware that there is a problem and won't learn anything about it until their warranties have run out!!!!

Hi All

We have an Abbey 418 GTS from brand new April 2008 after having a few problems including the front window which was changed Dec 2008,the same problem has occurded,phoned the dealer and they said they would phone us when the new one comes in.I hope it is not another "old stock part"!!!!

Just to give an update as promised. I have chased this matter up and have requested a clear concise statement on the matter that either I or our supplier can post on this matter.
