Froma third party posting I seem to recall you being referred to as Liz, Liz (Mop&Bucket), etc. etc. I can only offer my apology to you and it is obvious that one cannot always accept the word of a third party. I will therefore be more careful in my postings and try to fully understand what others are saying before making any comment myself. I hope Mr. Mod accepted your change of name and true identity and the 100 lines you wrote. Just like being back in school.

I was thinking about school as I was writing out my lines, they never had computers then, I had a manual typewriter which went ding as you changed lines, but of course could not use that for my lines, in them days, and I had the cane on my hand several times, had to stand outside the headmaster office door. Oh dear the good old days. Liz

If having the cane in school and also being made to stand outside the headmaster's study were the good old days what is your interpretation of bad days or shouldn't I ask? Now all I ask of you is, if you should reply, to keep your answer clean.

As a young lady you might not remember the days of waiting for the cane - bending over in the Head's study with a book in the seat of the trousers to soften the blow. Only trouble we would have six of the best and then he would ask us to remove the book and then administer another six for our bad ways. Now those were definately the BAD old days. By damn did it hurt - twelve strokes of the cane of varying strength on the BTM. OUCH - it brought more than tears to the eyes especially if one went home and told Mum that one had the cane in school.

The Girls had the cane on the hand in my school, it was only the boys who had the cane on the back side. I am not joking school days were better then, then they are now, I have seem my daugher come home with tears from bullying, there was none of that when I was at school, ok name calling, that was it.

Thank goodness I have no children at school nowdays.

Anyway Colin I might forget about this forum nothing to do with you or others that I call my forum pals I think he will know who I mean.

I like a laugh and a joke, but at the moment my eyes are filled with tears and that is not what I want.

Regards Liz

Liz although I was not in tears I was the subject of abuse some while ago and did not post here for a few months. I kept an eye on the forum but also kept a low profile. I eventually saw a posting from a lady last July, can't remeber her name, asking where I was and to return. The rest is history. Don't let the others get on top of you and upset you. As I said in another posting I apologise for opening the can of worms regarding costings on your site. Keep your chin up and don't let them get at you - dry your eyes and keep on posting - there will always be someone who will have a go at you and I think if they have a go at me then everybody else is having a rest.

Hi Colin it was not you that opened the can of worms if you read back you will know. Its not just my topic that not a issue here, but other people on this forum I can tell well say no more. You are a nice gentleman and your wife and family should be proud of you as is mine, but they do not like to see me upset like this, its not worth it. Maybe I will do that lay low, anyway I will be busy here soon, next week rally and then Easter, then hopefully we will be able to go away in our tourer for a week or so. Sorry to go on, but you seem such a nice man I will miss having a chit-chat or disagreement with you and others. Liz

Liz to go away in a caravan to you would be like taking coals to Newcastle - what you should have is a break away from caravans such as a cruise or similar to totally relax.

Cris from what I remember from previous postings you have on times supported Lord B. against me. Any friend of Lord B. deserves all they get - even the Bloody Tower in London. If there is Welsh blood in you then you must be a turncoat and looking after your own, as you now live with the enemy over Offa's ****.

I don't have any friends on here Colin, but the odd test of your humour is surely not a problem :)

You may also notice that I've ripped the ____ out of Lord B many times and that he did at one point get the wrong end of the stick and got quite upset.

Remember my mantra ;-)

" There are many here amongst us that feel life is but a joke "

As long as they can accept a joke when it comes to their turn. It is far easier to give a joke than accept a joke about oneself.

Your hubby and Brian's wife are both friends of Cris but you and Brian do not appear to know him as a friend.
