earlyriser, thank you so much for your good wishes.I am astounded by the kindness and support given by the wonderful human beings who use this site.I really enjoy reading the posts and taking part when I feel it appropriate. We live in a marvelous time despite the troubles that are in force. We have seen so many things that our grand parents could never imagine.

Are you a genuine EARLYRISER?I am ashamed to confess I DONT DO MORNINGS!!!I think I must have been a bat in a previous life and an old one at that!!!!

Well how curious,HIMSELF is an ex steering-wheel-attendant too !! He retired due to a damaged shoulder caused by the drive shaft in his lorry coming adrift and hurtling the truck across the A17 and into a tree.Broken ribs, cut face and shoulder damage. But luckily all fixable.Cause, poor maintenance by employer. After long treatment, failed operation and lots of examinations by "experts"HIMSELF was deemed unfit to drive HGVs 3 years before retirement. He loved his job.Now he drives a Grand Cherokee and hauls a twin axle HEIGH HO!!! HAPPY DAYS!!

I do so hope you too are as content as HIMSELF in retirement and your poorly knee improves.
