Hi,

took me by surprise there, seeing my name in the forum. Wondering what I'd done wrong. We've actually used it once, for a 10 day stay down in St. Davids. Lots of guy ropes and a built in storm strap helped make it rock steady in a couple of storms. Easy to erect and very roomy (4 mtrs long). The main benefit over my full ventura awning is carrying size and weight as well as speed of erection (cough, cough). If there's a downside it's that like other lightweights I've seen and owned, it's the bloody condensation! When it's cold and damp the awning is full of drips (even after we've gone inside). It's not as bad as our last lightweight but I think it's an inevitable consequence of the nylon type fabris that doesn't breath. Still, all in all we're pleased and I think we made the right choice. Hope this helps.
