Hello Kath,

We've had an accident with our 'van (2006 Bessacarr 625GL)where it looks as if we will need a new top panel. Could you give me some idea how long it will be before the spare parts become available?

Thanks

Ah, but here's the difference now Ann.

If Kath can do a "swift " job for Wendy than there is hope for everyone.

I always feel optimistic when a manufacturer takes an interest in a forum that they genuinely want to help.

Come on Kath , show what you can do for Wendy and take a pat on the back.... I hope so.

Cheers

Alan

Hi kath, while you are using your power, charm and influence on the parts department, can you find out how long the parts to repair the 40% damp under the window of our one year old challenger will be. We are told that they are on "back order". What exactly is "back order" anyway?!

thanks

Mel

Wendy

The normal lead time for a panel is 4 weeks. There are other factors, sometimes we can get the panels quicker. At the moment many of our suppliers are starting their annual shutdown which will add delays.

Has the order been placed?

If you let us have your details, we can look into the order and follow it through. I would need your chassis number, ideally, but if not, your postcode, name and dealer/repairer.

Our email address is enquiries@swiftleisure.co.uk

Regards

Kath

Again if you let me have your details I can look into it. Our email is enquiries@swiftleisure.co.uk.

Back order means the parts are not in stock.

70% of our parts are despatched in 7 days. I do know that its the other 30% that are a pain in the proverbial.

We are always happy to look into an order to find out the status because we do still get some horror stories but sometimes the dealer has not placed an order on us.

Regards

Kath

Thanks for your quick response, Kath!!:O)

The damage will be assessed this week by the dealer, and we have the insurance claim form to hand, I cannot see any other repair than a new side panel, I might be looking at a worst case scenario, but we will see! I must admit to having months of waiting for parts, you have put my mind to rest. Thankyou!!

I will ask the Mod to forward my email address. :O)
