Kath you might be able to find me the answer to this on my Abbey GTS Vogue and most if not all other vans it is important to get the van perfectly level if the sink, basin shower tray are to drain properly so why do they not put the plug hole in the centre and have the bottom of the sink etc slightly dished so that it will always drain even with an unlevel van?

I dont know - I will ask the question and come back to you. It will be next week as we have a factory shutdown at the moment with just a skeleton staff in to cover for customers.

Thanks I look forward to that.

Bit worried about 'skeleton staff ' I know all businesses have to watch costs but that really is cutting costs to the bone.lol

Tee Hee, Plotter, the old ones are always the best.

In answer to your question about draining.Clearly its important to try and get the van as level as possible, but as we know its not always possible which is why all our vans have the waste outlet connections on the offside, outside as near to the axle as possible in case of sloping ground. We now add two wastes into all our new shower tray designs in opposite corners to deal with this. The vanity basins have a central waste and sloping base now. The kitchen sink is a bit trickier as it is produced in eastern europe and is not our tool or design, however this is something we will raise with our supplier and see if we can't improve on this too.

Regards

Kath
