Hi, i see from one of your postings your from north of Glasgow, so i wonder if you can help me with the name of a site. It's just off the last roundabout, before you come to the Erskine Bridge (driving towards Glasgow) I think the roundabout also has 'metal sculptures' around it. Any ideas?,

We think we have worked out where you are !!

The A82 leading past Loch Lomond and the roundabout is at Balloch ( not too near to the Erskine Bridge )

The site in question is Lomond Woods which is right next to Lomond Shores shopping complex.

That name rings a bell. My brother stayed there a couple of years ago but couldn't remember the name of it. We're planning on staying there for 2 or 3 nights in October before heading further south, or to Oban (haven't decided yet).
