FAO Plotter.

Following on from your comment Plotter. Really nice drive today, no pressure, and I feel fit and wide awake.

I've done a five stop day as I had to fit in a little work as well as rest time and I'm pitched for dinner and the night near Avignon after a good nights sleep following the Dover Calais ferry yesterday evening.

Nicely chilled Leclerc Chardonnay with chicken and salad and then off to Nice after Breakfast in the morning. I feel fine, fit and relaxed Plotter and only the thought of the chicken in the fridge and the wine got the better of me so I stopped for the night.

Goodnight and happy caravanning :

According to Mappy.com that journey is circa 617 mile and solo takes 9 hours 54 min without stops so with stops or towing much longer still glad you managed it without falling asleep at the wheel.

Sadie on your other post you said you were going solo but in this post you refer to 'pitched up' and the chicken and wine in the fridge got the better of you so you stopped for the night.

I often work a twenty hour day Plotter and I had a restful day on Monday and early start yesterday. I must have driven about 670 miles as I avoid Paris and head for Tours via Rouen and Le Mans as we find it a quieter drive traffic wise and I got away from Calais after leaving the ferry, compared to a busy day at work it was a stroll in the park.

Monte Carlo is "home" until Monday, caravan and car left at Nice home of business associate/friends mother and I flew in from Nice this afternoon by helicopter as we have a local Pilot friend so hitched a lift in a style. Very stylish, the heliport hangs over the sea and it would have been even better if it was a good day to day.

I've a thing for spit roast chicken with mayonnaise and after a long day a cool white wine was too tempting, so driving gave way to the food in the fridge Mr P.

Got to get all glammed up now for dinner and maybe casino later. Have a nice weekend, rain and showers forcast here so the racing could be a real lottery.
