Farting is good for you!

ha ha ha - following on from a discussion with LordB I have done a bit of research. Look here:

I like the quote "Out is important. While Levitt says he has never treated someone who held a fart in too long, there are dangerous side effects (including dizziness and headaches). Your colon becomes bloated, and theoretically, the methane and other lethal gases could add enough toxins to your blood to poison you. Levitt does not recommend holding in farts."

...now thinking of changing my nickname to Dr Fart Speaks! sorry Lisa. Mark (",)

When I googled it I was surprised to see the actual word mentioned in serious medical websites. Surely theres got to be a medical term for it apart from flattulence which can also mean belching.

Hmmmm, I've just done another search and according to

http://www.medword.comthat is the only word referring to botty burps.

Guess what, I've just realised that by using this forum I learn something new everyday :O) Where else in my life would I have found the need to google "fart" :O) hehheh!

I can't wait for Her Ladyship to come home so I can impress her by telling her that fart is a medical term. I'm sure she will be impressed and if so I will be o.k. for tonight ;O)
