OK, now even my doctor found this hard to believe. 6'6' biker and all that!

Water!

I start the day on it and finish the day on it and drink little but water in between and some fruit juice abd an odd coffee.

I like good Wine, Scotch, Irish etc but haven't bothered for years that you could speak of.

Many a busines function plan and politic upset when they find that the big guy is always stone cold sober ;-)

On a Friday night - a few pints of Ringwood Best Bitter

Otherwise a nice Rioja Crianza. Brings back the memories of sitting in "Green Spain" just mopping up the scenery.

You have good taste CliveV

Laphroaig Islay malt, traditional green bottle with white label1 Try Lagavulin as well!

But how good a knowlege of fine scotch or cognac do you have.

What is the ultimate addition to the finest malts and cognacs?

I agree with Clive Ringwoods bitter is a proper English mans drink .Unfortunately i have to settle for Beartown Bitter up here ,however as age and bladder capacity take their toll i now start off with bitter and then slow down on Scotch ,or G&T S.I will drink wine but only yours Coljac
