Ferry from Royan across to Le Verdon sur mer

We hope to stay at a campsite at the above, but are concerned that we will need to take the ferry from Royan. Does anyone have experience of this ferry and if so, how often does it sail and is it dear?
 
Hi Brian,

We took that ferry a few years ago on a day trip from Royan to Bordeaux. We drove from Royan to Bordeaux on the D730 / N137 via Cozes and Blaye. We came back on the N215 via Macon and Le Verdon Sur Mer. It's quite a small ferry which runs all day - every hour or so - but I can't remember if it takes caravans.
