Hi , has any one had experience with these awnings ? are they any good in the wind and wet, are they as good as a conventional awning ?

I've had one for 3+ years and its OK

Once erected its wind and water proof from the outside but there is a lot of condensation on the plastic inside

Its easy to put up but you really need 2 tall people or steps to roll it up again

Its very difficult on your own to roll up underhand

I dont have one but a friend of mine has just bought one and was using it for the first time over Easter in North Wales so should have been tested for both wind and rain and snow (if they put it up) he is away until the weekend so I will try and enquire of him on his return and let you know.
