Afternoon all
Does anyone use either a Fiamma Caravanstore or the Thule equivilant?
Looking for something quick and easy for weekend use (really dont want to be using the awning for a 2 night stay)
Edit.

Having just had a mooch in tinterweb, i quite like the look of the isabella shadow.
Anyone using one of them?

Thoughts and ridicule please

A couple of months back there was a thread which discussed these types of awnings. A lady didn’t want a full weight awning so there were some posts and pictures where people with these type gave their views. Try searching from beginning of year. If I can remember the lady’s forum name I will post it into this thread.
From memory most seemed to favour the Thule and one gave a good report of its performance in windy weather.

JanB and Harby using Thule awning will get you into the threads.

I have a Suncamp in the picture. Great but TAKE IT DOWN if the wind strengthens. Bit like a sail. Otherwise very nice actually. By strong wind mean "fairly" strong, not just normal windy. Get it! (0 ~ 6 OK)

So just how fast is the wind blowing?

3 --- Gentle breeze 8 - 12 mph 3.5-5 m/s Leaves & small twigs move, light flags extend
4 --- Moderate breeze 13 - 18 mph 5.5-8 m/s Small branches sway, dust & loose paper blows about
5 --- Fresh breeze 19 - 24 mph 8.5-10.5 m/s Small trees sway, waves break on inland waters
6 --- Strong breeze 25 - 31 mph 11-13.5 m/s Large branches sway, umbrellas difficult to use
7 --- Moderate gale 32 - 38 mph 14-16.5 m/s Whole trees sway, difficult to walk against wind
8 --- Fresh gale 39 - 46 mph 17-20 m/s Twigs broken off trees, walking against wind very difficult
