Ah the bliss - getting old gracefully with new van, Fixed bed, Motor Mover and no more divorce threats at awning time. OK, so we don't have a full awning but we do we have somewhere to shelter from the sun and Rain and Share a bottle of 2 of the Red wine during those summer evenings in Cornwall. Only thing is, we really do like the convenience of the Caravanstore, so much so that we would like to use one at home outside of the Patio Doors. We currently erect a Gazebo to shade the sun but suffer from Post Traumatic Stress and Divorce considerations after Assembly and Dismantling. We thought how easy it would be to affix a strip of Awning Rail above the Patio Doors and leave the sun canopy in position. We wondered if Anyone else had done or considered this and if so do they know of any proprietry fixing system or should we go to the Caravan workshop and purchase a length of rail?

Perfectly sound soloution.

Could get a second caravenstore from E.bay as time would tarnish the canopy.You could even use a Dorma canopy as it is so simple to erect.

as for the rail if you can't get it from a dealer you could always try a breaker.
