Going to France for the first time, thought we had better stick to Caravan Club sites, picked out two in the Loire Valley Chateau des marais and Le pac du val. Are these good choices? Which one would be best for family of four with 11 and 9 year old. Was thinking of stopping on the way, can anybody suggest a good site for stop off.
 
What time of year and which ferry service are you using? If you are travelling out of the main season have a look at teh Camping Cheques site. You can get advantageous ferry prices from them or also by buying Camping Cheques from the Caravan Club in conjunction with a Brittany Ferry Crossing.
 
Sorry just re-read your posting as you have two youngsters assume you are travelling in school holidays. There are still some sites that will take Camping Cheques in the main season see Val A's posting below.
