as a keen fisherman , while on site i like to stroll down to the site river or lake & have a fish for a few hours, some of the fishing has been good some poor so here is my question ,do any of you folks know of sites in france (any region) with good fishing....thanks
 
Pete, You don't mention what sort of fishing you are into, I fly fish, howvere there is a site at Ebreuil, page 340 of 2004 Caravan Club European Handbook, called Camping La Filature de Sioule. Look under Gannat. It is, for us, a fabulous site on the banks of the River Sioule. Trout as well as coarse fishing is avalaible relatively cheaply from Ebrueil to Menet upstream. Site is owned and run by two Brits, very relaxed, in the country, marvellous bird life and a flock of your own peacocks. Don't tell too many people about it though.
