This may sound rude but I am sure is not out of the realms of possibility,!!

The southport airshow dates have only just been announced,I went to book my van in for the weekend and lo and behold fri,sat,sun is full ! how can this be so quick! Are people just guessing and booking up? how come the following weekend(which it has been held on before) is not full then???

Somebody holding pitches ????!!! just seems odd !!!

I do !! It works out more fun(and economical) to go in my van for the weekend !! hot tea,coffee! bacon barms!! and my dad who loves airplanes but struggles walking round all day can come and sit and watch in comfort................bit cheeky but if I pays me pitch fee perfectally legal !! lol lol!!

just seems odd that it is booked up on that particular weekend apparently and the dates have only just been confirmed !

It CANT be chance bookings or the same would apply to the following two weekends,you'd book them all and then cancel when confirmed surley!!!(anyway when i first got my van last year I asked if it would be ok to book a pitch in my own town for the show and YOU LOT SAID YES !!!!!!!!!! LOL)

its the same for the big international fireworks championships held in southport in september. in march my dad went to southport for weekend and booked for fireworks show and told me, i went on cc club website it was booked up,but my dad had just booked before he left[only live an hours drive away] but when i rang site i booked in no problems. i think some people just know better when these events are going to happen!!!
