fitting a tow bar & towing with Golf GT TDI (DSG) 2000c

Hi I have recently purchased a Golf GT TDI DSG gearbox 2000cc. I am thinking of fitting a tow bar but concerned about the fitting I understand that I will need a detachable tow bar as I have reversing sensors, should I get 13 pin electrics with a twin converter as I think it will look neater with the bumper filler cap.

Has anyone had a tow bar fitted to a MK5 and offer any advice.

Plus how does the car pull with DSG gears.

Just Fitted towbar & electrics to my golf mk v dsg. Have you fitted yours yet? It is a headache. No help from main dealerships. If you fit and use the genuin VW electrics you still have to take the car to be finished at the main dealer - expensive!
