The fixed bed in the our bustner is the standard end bedroom with standard mattress, which is both comfortable, and firm.

Infact in the practical caravan test back in the summer of 2005[cannot remember if it was may, june, july, or august, this was a feature of the van...

We have a Senator Oklahoma with longitudinal fixed bed. Mattress is brilliant. Fairly firm, which I like. If I need to go to the loo during the night (rare), I nudge my wife who draws her legs up (behave!) and I slide across the bottom of the mattress. Never felt the need for a mattress topper.

We have a 'wrong side' Swift (built for the Dutch market)- like the Challenger. It has a rear side fixed bed, with bathroom at the side. The mattress is comfortable - but firm - so we bought a cheap polyester hollofill single duvet and have put that on the top of the mattress (the single size just fits), underneath the bottom sheet. It gives extra 'give' and makes for a blissful sleep.

The mattress in our last van a Lexon EB was foam and extremmelly comfortable. When we changed to the Delta 640 we expected even better as it has a sprung mattress. However we were dissapointed as the mattress lacked sufficient padding. To resolve this we bought a Raskelf 3in Gold topper. Turned out to be the best investment we have made for the van, extremmelly comfortable bed now giving a great nights sleep.

Hi,

we have a 2007 Fleetwood Heritage 640ES, the bed is transverse accross the rear and the mattress has memory foam built in, it is very comfotable and shows no wear after over 100 nights away in it so far, the only problem I find with the bed is that I don't want to get out of it!

We have a 2008 Wyoming (like a big Indiana with a big Washroom).

Our bed is doorside with the cut off. I found the bed a little too hard on our first trip and have now invested in a 2 inch memory foam topper from Jonic.

They have all the 'van bed sizes at their base. It wasn't cheap, at about
