Hi I was really keen onbuying a Swift Charisma 570 for the layout and build quality but its a tad too heavy for my mondeo (max tow 1480 KG). Can anyone reccomed some lighter alternatives of similiar quality ( We have about £10k to spend probably looking at a 2005 or newer)5 or 6 birth with fixed bunks.

Many Thanks

Kev (Cheltenham)

No help weight wise but just changed my single axle coachman 560/6 rear fixed bunks for a new 640/6 twin axle side fixed bunks with rear washroom. from the point of view if the two layouts, the fixed bunks at the rear are easier to acess storage from outside door which I have lost on the new one, but the back bathroom is a bigger bonus. Hope it helps on the layout.

Ace jubilee Courier for me.

Single axle, double bunks along width at back, two single "make up"beds at side, and normal double "make up" at front, tows the best, not too dear, and a dream to take the kids away in, their own space......Heaven :)

We've had our 6 berth Avondale 556/6 Dart (Firbeck special edition) 3 years now. Get away 8 or 10 weeks a year and no problems with it. Weight is 1300kg. My 2.0tdci galaxy tows it very easily.
