I am interested in getting a royal windsor porch awning which when travelling can be left on the side of the caravan, however received the cc magazine today and there is an article in there saying that the main concern is the damage it could cause to the awning fixing points and additional stress. Another concern was it may affect the lateral balance and stability.If anyone has got one or has views would be intrigued to know their thoughts.
 
Hi Ian,

If it is of any help to you I have been towing for 8 years using 3 different vans with a 3.1 metre Caravanstore on the awning rail and have had no problems at all.
