fixing my rotten floor beams

whilst working on my caravan i took of the skirts on the side to find the beams, that sit between the the two layers of ply on the floor rotten, does anyone know how hard these are to replace?

also some of the ply is rotten, would this be any more difficult to replace ?

my plan is to replace the beams then seal with some new ply then to use a delam kit to stiffen up the floor in the areas, the rotten parts are in the four courners so not a high foot area.

any sujestions would be helpful apart from buy a new van

We've done a similar repair on our caravan - in the two back corners, and it wasn't difficult. The worst bit was removing all the rotten timber back enough to make a secure fixing for the new timbers. There was also a layer of insulation in between the two ply layers. We replaced the ply, and then sealed it - but we discovered why there was a problem in the first place. This was because water shedding off the van didn't 'drip' off but ran down and on to the ply floor. Try pouring some water down the rear corners of your van and see what happens! We added a right-angled plastic strip, bought from B and Q for about
