Fleetwood Front or Rear Panel Cracks ?

We had a 1990 Fleetwood Garland from 90 to 96. The front panel crackded along the 'fold' either side of the gas locker at about 18months (so out of warranty then), the dealer strengthened it with metal plates but over time it did continue to crack. Fleetwood denigned any knowledge of it but we met severalother owners with the same problem. Eventually we had tio have the front replaced, the dealer (not a Fleetwood dealership) told us it was due to too small a gap between teh bottom of the panel and the A-frame. As the A-frame flexes it was transmitted to the front panel which caused it to 'fold' at the body line leading to the crack. However when they replaced the front they could not do anything about this and had to put the new front on in exactly the same way, hence it was starting to crack again when we sold it on.

Haven't looked at Fleetwood since!
